libgoocanvas-dev software package provides development libraries, include files and documentation for goocanvas, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgoocanvas-dev
libgoocanvas-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgoocanvas-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgoocanvas-dev *
You will get with libgoocanvas-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
